Position Details
Join a team that brings years of experience and expertise in the scope of a general orthopedic surgery practice, including minimally invasive total joint replacement, trauma surgery, pediatrics, and sports injuries.
Practice Highlights
- Full-time, Monday - Friday schedule
- Dedicated administrative time built into your workweek
- No call responsibilities
- Outpatient-focused practice with a collaborative orthopedic team and experienced clinical support
- In this role, you will:
- Perform comprehensive pre- and post-operative evaluations
- Diagnose and manage common outpatient orthopedic conditions
- Coordinate patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up visits alongside orthopedic surgeons
Practice Environment
- Average patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day
- Balanced mix of new consultations and follow-up appointments
- Established referral network with a strong, supportive clinical team
- On-site X-ray and casting services for streamlined patient care
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or eligible for New Mexico licensure
- Two+ years of orthopedic or relevant clinical experience preferred; strong candidates with related experience are encouraged to apply
- Comfortable evaluating and managing common outpatient orthopedic conditions
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
